PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

suitesso-trezro.wixstudio.com is an impersonation phishing page built on a free Wix Studio subdomain. Its name is a garbled take on "Trezor Suite", the companion app for Trezor hardware wallets, so it is aimed at Trezor owners looking for setup or support help. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. As of 2026-10-19 the address was still alive and redirecting visitors elsewhere.

How the scam works

Fake Trezor Suite pages typically tell visitors that their device needs an update, verification or recovery. They then ask the visitor to type in the 12- or 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone who holds that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and the hardware wallet offers no protection once the seed has been handed over. The page currently shows the title "404 Error: Page Not Found | Wix Studio", while we classify the site as Trezor impersonation phishing.

Evidence

When VirusTotal checked the site on 2026-09-10, 10 of 89 engines flagged it. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, ESET, G-Data, LevelBlue and Lionic. That is a modest share of engines, but it comes from several independent vendors. The crypto-focused blocklists of MetaMask and SEAL list it alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users who rely on those protections should already see a warning.

Infrastructure

The 2016-12-17 registration date and the GoDaddy.com, LLC registrar belong to wixstudio.com, which is Wix's own platform domain. They say nothing about how old the scam is. The operator simply created a subdomain on a trusted site builder, which costs nothing and borrows the platform's reputation. Traffic is served through Cloudflare, Inc. from an address located in Canada.

What to do

If you entered your Trezor recovery phrase on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a freshly generated seed and move any remaining funds to it immediately. Trezor, like any legitimate wallet vendor, never asks for your seed on a website, and genuine firmware updates happen only inside the official Suite app with the device connected. If you also connected a software wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the full subdomain and report it to Wix for removal, and they should watch for similar misspelled Trezor names on free site-builder platforms.
