spacexaccess.co is a phishing domain that uses the SpaceX name to look like an official or insider route to the company. It targets people who are drawn to SpaceX investment opportunities, crypto offers or exclusive access. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-07. The site was still online on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Scams that borrow the SpaceX brand usually promise something the public cannot normally get, such as pre-IPO shares, private allocations, Starlink-linked tokens or Musk-themed crypto giveaways. Victims are then asked to send a deposit, pay an unlocking fee or submit identity and login details. Whatever is sent goes straight to the operators and does not come back. The page currently shows a "403 Forbidden" title. The site still responds, but it blocks some visitors, while our classification is brand impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-18: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, VIPRE and desenmascara.me. That is a small share of engines, so many browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain, which shows other researchers are tracking it. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it so far.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-10-02, five days before we detected it. Scam domains are often put into use this quickly after registration. It resolves to 23.153.104.17 on the Aquiryn LLC network in the United States. Its Let's Encrypt certificate only encrypts the connection, so the padlock in the browser does not show that SpaceX is behind the site.
What to do
SpaceX does not sell shares or run crypto giveaways through lookalike domains, so treat any offer on this site as fraudulent. If you sent money or crypto, stop all further payments, including any "release" or "verification" fees. Report the transaction to your bank, card issuer or the exchange you sent it from, and file a police report. If you entered a password or ID documents, change that password wherever you reuse it and turn on two-factor authentication. Watch for identity misuse as well. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level and add it to email and URL filters.
