Infrastructure
The two-day gap between registration through Dynadot Inc on 2026-10-15 and its appearance on our blocklist points to a domain put to use almost immediately. It sits behind Cloudflare's network, with the address placed in Canada. This means the server actually hosting the content is hidden from view. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser padlock but says nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
Do not follow the redirect, and close the tab if it opens unexpectedly. If you typed a password or email on a page reached through this domain, change that password wherever you reuse it and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a crypto wallet or signed anything, check and cancel any active token permissions, and move funds to a fresh wallet if you shared a recovery phrase. Defenders should block sodapex.com at DNS and proxy level, watch logs for earlier visits, and report it to Dynadot and Cloudflare so the redirect can be traced and stopped.
