How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and name of a real or plausible service, here an 'AI' brand. The goal is to make visitors trust the site enough to act on it. Schemes like this typically push the victim to connect a crypto wallet, sign a transaction, enter login details or send funds under the guise of joining a platform or activating a feature. Anything signed, typed or deposited on the page goes to the operators, and crypto transfers cannot be reversed.
Evidence
Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-01: BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. A low engine count is typical for a newly launched phishing domain, and the vendors that did flag it are mainstream ones. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, both maintained specifically for crypto threats, and is referenced in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through DYNADOT LLC on 2026-09-26, only three days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap fits a site set up for a quick campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare's network, with the IP geolocated to Canada, so the origin server is not publicly visible. The Let's Encrypt certificate is free and issued automatically, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.
What to do
Do not connect a wallet, sign anything or enter credentials on signallx.com. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals granted to unfamiliar addresses. If you suspect you signed a malicious transaction, move your remaining assets to a fresh wallet. If you typed a password or seed phrase, treat it as compromised: change the password, enable two-factor authentication and never reuse a seed phrase that has been exposed. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies and add it to mail filtering.
