sellerappdown.com is a phishing page that posed as TikTok Shop, under the page title "TikTok Shop". Its domain name, a mash-up of "seller", "app" and "down", suggests a lure aimed at merchants who sell through TikTok Shop. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-11 and was still unreachable on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Lures like this usually reach sellers through messages claiming their seller app is down, their store is suspended, or a payout is on hold. The message pushes them to a page dressed as TikTok Shop to "restore access". The page asks for account login, verification codes or business details. Whatever the seller types goes straight to the operators, who can then hijack the shop, divert payouts or use the account for further fraud.
Evidence
On 2026-10-09, 9 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Detections came from alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, DNS8, Emsisoft, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar, a spread of independent vendors rather than a single feed. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to the TikTok Shop brand, which backs up the impersonation classification. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Cloudflare, Inc. on 2026-10-04. It was serving its fake TikTok Shop page within five days and went dark two days after we caught it, which fits a short-lived campaign domain. Traffic resolved to Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. That means the address shown belongs to a shared proxy layer rather than the operators' real server.
What to do
If you entered TikTok or TikTok Shop credentials on this site, change your password right away from the official app. Turn on or reset two-step verification, and sign out of all other sessions. Check your seller center for changed bank or payout details, new staff accounts, or listings you did not create, and contact TikTok Shop seller support if anything looks wrong. Treat any later message about "app downtime" or account suspension with suspicion and open the official app directly instead of following links. Defenders should block the domain and look in mail and chat logs for messages that pointed users to it.
