PhishDestroy threat report
s.team-s.my is an impersonation phishing page posing as Steam's login. The domain splits the brand name with a dot and a hyphen so that it reads as "steam" at a glance. It targets Steam users, especially those holding valuable inventories or wallet balances. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29, and the site has been offline since 2026-10-14, still unreachable when checked on 2026-10-19.
Victims land on a page titled simply "Sign In" that copies Steam's login screen, usually after following a link in a chat message, a fake trade offer or a "vote for my team" request. Anything typed into the form goes to the operators: username, password and often the Steam Guard code requested on the next screen. With these, attackers can take over the account, change its recovery details, and strip out skins, items and wallet funds through trades or market sales before the owner notices.
On 2026-10-01, 13 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as malicious, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, CRDF, Criminal IP and alphaMountain.ai. That is a solid detection rate for a site only days old. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and recognised Steam branding on the page. Spamhaus also lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot on 2026-09-18, just eleven days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains that are set up quickly and run briefly. It was hosted at 45.155.69.188 on the PSB Hosting network in the Netherlands. It carried a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock gave visitors no assurance about who ran the site.
If you entered your Steam details here, change your Steam password immediately from the official client. Then use "Deauthorize all other devices" under Steam Guard and confirm your recovery email and phone are still yours. Check for unexpected trade offers, market listings or a registered Web API key, revoke any key you did not create, and change the password of the linked email account if it is the same. If you have lost control of the account, contact Steam Support. Defenders should block the domain and its IP and watch for similar dotted or hyphenated lookalikes of steam in chat and email traffic.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
