robo-troxis.com is an impersonation phishing site that poses as a legitimate service to win the trust of crypto users and other visitors. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-04. When last checked on 2026-10-19 the domain was still online, but it was serving protected content rather than an openly reachable page. Its page title reads "403 Forbidden," a server error message, while we classify the domain as an impersonation phishing page.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites copy the name, look and wording of a service people already trust. Victims arrive through ads, search results, social media or direct messages. The site then asks them to sign in, submit personal or account details, or move funds, and everything entered goes straight to the operators. Victims can lose account access, identity data and any money or crypto they send, and recovering crypto transfers is rarely possible.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, VirusTotal showed 6 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a small share of engines, but it includes predictive-threat and phishing-focused vendors whose verdicts agree with ours. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-04-05, about six months before PhishDestroy detected it. Registering a domain early and activating it later lets the domain build some age before a campaign begins. The site is hosted in the US on the Aquiryn LLC network at 23.153.104.17 and uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser therefore shows only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is genuine.
What to do
If you entered a password on robo-troxis.com, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that uses the same password. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and check for logins or devices you do not recognize. If you shared personal details or sent funds, contact the genuine provider through its official channels and report the incident to your bank or exchange. Do not send more money to anyone who promises to recover what you lost. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP and search mail and proxy logs for earlier visits.
