redmontvaultex-system.com is an impersonation phishing page styled as the official website of Redmont Vaultex, presented under the title "Redmont Vaultex | Compliance Solutions | Official Website". It targets people who expect to deal with that brand, especially anyone told their account or funds need a compliance check. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. The site has been offline since 2026-09-22, and its DNS was still inactive when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The page borrows the Redmont Vaultex name and a "compliance solutions" pitch to look like a legitimate firm. Fake compliance portals in crypto fraud usually tell victims that their funds are frozen, flagged or pending verification. They then ask for identity documents, account logins or a "compliance fee" before anything is released. Whatever the victim hands over, whether money, credentials or personal records, goes straight to the operators, and no funds are ever returned.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 16 of 89 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious. They included ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. That spread of commercial and community vendors agreeing within three days of our detection strongly backs the impersonation verdict. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers tracked it independently, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through MainReg Inc. on 2026-03-01, about six and a half months before it surfaced as a phishing page. That gap suggests it was registered in advance and held until the campaign launched. Traffic ran through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada. This conceals the real origin server, so the Cloudflare address says little about where the operators actually are.
What to do
If you paid a "compliance", verification or release fee through this site, contact your bank or payment provider now and file a report with local police or your national fraud center. Be wary of anyone who later offers to recover the money, because recovery scams commonly follow. If you entered a password, change it on every service where you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse. Defenders should block the domain and look for lookalikes that pair the Redmont Vaultex name with words like "system" or "compliance".
