PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

rainbowetz.com is an impersonation phishing page aimed at cryptocurrency users. Its name is built to pass at a glance as a legitimate service. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving content, so it remains an active risk to anyone who lands on it.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a trusted crypto brand so visitors treat them as the real thing. The victim is then steered into an action that hands over control. Typical examples are typing a seed phrase or private key into a fake recovery form, or connecting a wallet and signing a transaction that grants the operator access to tokens. Either way, the attacker can empty the wallet without further interaction. The page title reads "编组 21" (Chinese for "Group 21"), a generic design-layer label that names no brand, while our classification is based on the site's impersonation behaviour.

Evidence

Wallet-security blocklists back the classification. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so the warning comes from multiple independent sources focused on crypto threats. VirusTotal coverage is thinner: on 2026-10-01, 6 of 91 engines flagged it (alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar). A low antivirus score does not make the site safe. Most engines simply had not yet caught up with it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-30 through NameMart Pte. Ltd., about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the domain was either held in reserve or operated quietly before drawing attention. It sits behind Cloudflare, with the network located in Canada, which hides the true origin server. The site uses a free, automatically issued TLS certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not enter any seed phrase, private key or password on rainbowetz.com. If you already typed a recovery phrase there, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a newly generated wallet right away. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, revoke the token approvals granted to unfamiliar contracts with a trusted approval checker. Also watch the wallet for unexpected outgoing transfers. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare and NameMart Pte. Ltd. for takedown.
