pure-whirl.com is an impersonation phishing site. It copies the look of a legitimate service so visitors believe they are on the real thing. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so it remains a live risk for anyone who lands on it from a search ad, social post or direct message.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages work by borrowing trust. The victim sees familiar branding, a login form or a "connect wallet" button, and acts as they would on the genuine site. Whatever they type or approve goes to the operators. That can be a password and one-time code, a recovery phrase, or a wallet signature that grants spending rights. With a recovery phrase or a broad token approval, the attacker can empty the wallet without further interaction, and those transfers cannot be reversed.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious. They include ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. Agreement across that many unrelated vendors makes a false positive unlikely. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX community pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently. Among blocklists, it is currently carried by PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2025-11-12, roughly ten months before it surfaced as a phishing page. A domain left idle for that long carries some age, which can help it get past filters that distrust brand-new registrations. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada. That address is a proxy, so it reveals nothing about where the phishing kit is actually hosted.
What to do
If you entered a password or 2FA code here, change the password on the real service right away. Sign out all other sessions and reset two-factor authentication. If you typed a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet and signed something, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-checking tool. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search mail and chat logs for links to it. Report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot so the live page can be taken down.
