Overview

proverseax.pro presents itself as "Proverseax | AI Trading Platform | Official Website". PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for automated crypto trading and quick returns. We first flagged it on 2026-09-19. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Sites that pose as AI trading platforms usually show polished dashboards, claims of algorithmic profit and fake performance figures to win trust. Victims are encouraged to open an account and deposit crypto, and the balance shown on screen then appears to grow. When the user tries to withdraw, new obstacles appear, such as "verification", "tax" or "withdrawal fees" that must be paid first. The real losses are the deposits, any extra fees paid, and any identity documents or login details submitted along the way.

Evidence

On 2026-09-29, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as malicious. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai, a mix of independent vendors rather than a single source. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listed against it so far, so many browsers and filters may still let it load without a warning.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-05-19, exactly four months before we detected it. A gap like that often means a site was prepared in advance or ran quietly before it was promoted. It resolves to 188.114.97.3, with hosting in the US. Its certificate is a free domain-validated one from ZeroSSL, so the padlock only proves control of the domain and says nothing about who runs it.

What to do

Do not deposit anything more. Above all, do not pay any fee, tax or unlock charge to release a balance, because that money will not come back. If you sent crypto, save transaction hashes, chat logs and account screenshots, report the theft to your exchange and local police, and be wary of "recovery services" that contact you afterwards. If you reused a password on the site, change it everywhere and turn on 2FA. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and the web proxy, and search mail and chat logs for links to it.
