obl.securefileshared.info is a credential phishing page that imitates a Microsoft sign-in. It targets people who expect to open a shared document, most often Microsoft 365 and Outlook users at work. The hostname suggests a secure file-sharing service, and the page itself is titled simply "Login". PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-29, and it was still online when we last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Lures of this kind usually arrive as an email or chat message saying a file has been shared with you. The link opens a generic "Login" page dressed in Microsoft branding, which asks for your email address and password before you can view the file. Whatever you type goes to the operators, not to Microsoft. A stolen Microsoft account can give access to mailboxes, OneDrive and SharePoint files, Teams, and every service that uses it for single sign-on. Attackers often use a hijacked mailbox to send the same lure to the victim's contacts.
Evidence
On 2026-10-01, 12 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the site, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, CRDF and Criminal IP. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors come from several independent companies, which supports the verdict. urlscan.io independently rated the page malicious and detected Microsoft as the impersonated brand. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The parent domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2019-11-19, almost seven years before this subdomain was caught serving a Microsoft login. Because the domain is old, filters that trust older domains offer little protection here. The site is hosted on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but the padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
What to do
If you entered credentials on this page, change your Microsoft account password immediately from a device you trust. Also change it anywhere else you reused that password. Sign out of all sessions, then review or enable multi-factor authentication and remove any sign-in methods you don't recognise. Check your mailbox for new forwarding rules, inbox rules or app consents you did not create, and report the incident to your IT team. Defenders should block the domain at the mail gateway, proxy and DNS, and search logs for clicks and sign-ins that followed visits to it.
