Overview

nova-quest.com is an impersonation phishing site. It poses as a legitimate crypto project or service to win the trust of wallet holders and crypto users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so it remains dangerous to anyone who lands on it.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the branding, layout and wording of a real project so visitors believe they are on the official site. Victims usually arrive through ads, social media posts or direct messages. The page then asks them to log in, connect a wallet, "verify" an account or type in a recovery phrase. Whatever the victim submits goes straight to the operators. A seed phrase or a signed wallet approval lets them empty the wallet, and stolen logins let them take over the account.

Evidence

Our classification is backed by independent security vendors. On 2026-09-21, 17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, ADMINUSLabs, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. Seventeen detections from unrelated vendors is a strong, consistent signal. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too. Among the blocklists we checked, PhishDestroy currently lists it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2025-10-28, almost eleven months before we detected it on 2026-09-13. A gap that long fits a domain that was registered early and kept in reserve, or one that operated quietly before anyone reported it. Traffic is routed through Cloudflare, Inc., which resolves to a Canadian address. Because Cloudflare acts as a proxy, that address hides the server that actually hosts the page.

What to do

Do not enter anything on nova-quest.com, and never type a seed phrase into any website. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as lost. Move any remaining funds to a new wallet with a freshly generated phrase right away. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke token approvals for that address. If you entered account credentials, change the password wherever you reused it and reset two-factor authentication. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot.
