PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

nfts-access.com is an impersonation phishing page. It poses as a legitimate service so that visitors trust it with credentials or wallet access, and its name suggests it is aimed at NFT collectors and crypto users looking for an access or claim portal. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16, two days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and branding of a trusted project or platform. Victims usually arrive through links in social media posts, direct messages, fake announcements or ads promising exclusive NFT access, a mint or an airdrop. The page then asks the visitor to log in, enter a recovery phrase or private key, or connect a wallet and sign a request. Anything typed or signed there goes to the operators, who can use it to take over accounts or empty wallets.

Evidence

The classification is backed by several independent sources. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Block List as DBL_PHISH. On VirusTotal, detection is still low: only Fortinet flagged it, 1 of 92 engines, when it was checked on 2026-10-16. That low count is common for freshly registered phishing domains and does not mean the site is safe.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-14 through Web Commerce Communications Limited dba WebNic.cc. It resolves to 188.114.97.1 on AS13335 Cloudflare, Inc., in the US, which means the real origin server sits behind Cloudflare's proxy. Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YE2). The padlock in the browser only shows that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not visit the site or enter anything on it. If you typed a password there, change it immediately wherever you use it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, revoke the token approvals granted to unfamiliar contracts with a trusted approval-management tool. Defenders should block the domain at DNS, proxy and email gateways and report any lures that point to it.
