Overview

This is a fake Netcoins sign-in page aimed at customers of the Netcoins crypto exchange. It sits on a subdomain of a site-builder platform, with the brand misspelled as "netcins" and padded with "auth" and "public" so it looks like an official login address at a glance. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-25, and it was still online and serving its phishing content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page is titled "Log In | Netcoins® - Buy", copying the wording and trademark symbol a real Netcoins customer expects on the exchange's login screen. Victims who arrive through a search ad, email or direct message see a familiar login form and type in their email and password, and often a one-time 2FA code as well. Everything entered goes straight to the operators. With working credentials they can sign in to the real exchange account, sell or withdraw the crypto and fiat balance, and change account settings to lock the owner out.

Evidence

17 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the page as of 2026-10-07. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, a spread of independent products that supports the phishing verdict. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Netcoins as the brand being imitated. The site is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The operators did not register their own domain. They built the page on a free website-builder subdomain, a cheap and quick setup that is easy to replace once it gets reported. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, with an address located in Canada. The site uses a standard Google Trust Services certificate, so the padlock in the browser only shows the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is genuine.

What to do

If you entered your Netcoins login here, go to the real Netcoins site by typing the address yourself, change your password immediately, and reset 2FA so that only your own authenticator is linked. Check the account for withdrawals, new withdrawal addresses or changed settings, and contact Netcoins support at once if anything looks wrong. Change the password on any other service where you used the same one. Security teams should block this hostname, look in mail and proxy logs for users who reached it, and report it to the hosting platform so the page can be removed.
