PhishDestroy threat report
morph-o.org is an impersonation phishing page built to pass as Morpho, the decentralized lending protocol. It reuses Morpho's own tagline as its page title, "Morpho | The open credit network for the world." The hyphenated name is a lookalike aimed at users who type the brand quickly or click a promoted link. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves, but its page content no longer loads.
Morpho users interact with lending vaults by connecting a wallet and signing transactions. A copycat front end exploits that habit. The visitor lands on a page that looks like the real app, clicks to connect, and is asked to approve or sign something presented as a routine deposit, claim or position update. In schemes of this kind, that signature grants token spending rights or transfers assets outright. The wallet can then be emptied without any further action from the victim.
Thirteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flag the domain, checked 2026-09-24. Among them is ChainPatrol, a crypto-focused vendor, alongside alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. The domain also sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which matters because wallet users get a direct warning before interacting. Spamhaus lists it in DBL as phishing, and three AlienVault OTX pulses reference it. Together these give independent confirmation from both general security vendors and Web3-specific defenders.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-10 through Tucows Domains Inc., about five weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a campaign that prepares a lookalike name and then pushes traffic to it later. The site is hosted on HostPapa in the United States. Because the domain still resolves, the operators could restore content on it at any time.
If you connected a wallet to morph-o.org, review and revoke any token approvals granted around the time of your visit using a reputable allowance checker. If you signed a transaction you did not fully understand, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised and migrate immediately. Reach Morpho only through bookmarked official addresses, not search ads or social media links. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP 104.168.141.212 at DNS and proxy level, and alert DeFi users to this hyphenated Morpho lookalike.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
