PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

misspport.adieforhair.com is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a legitimate service to trick visitors into handing over sensitive information. Its page title, "Package", points to a parcel or delivery theme aimed at ordinary consumers expecting a shipment. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still alive and its content reachable through a redirect.

How the scam works

Package-themed impersonation scams usually start with a text message or email claiming a delivery is on hold, then send the victim to a page dressed up as a courier or support portal. The page asks the visitor to confirm a name, address and phone number, and often to pay a small redelivery or customs fee by card. Everything typed in goes to the operators, who can use the card details for fraud and reuse the personal data in follow-up scams. A redirect in front of the content lets the operators move or rotate the landing page without changing the link they distribute.

Evidence

Google Safe Browsing flags the site as SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, which means browsers using that service warn visitors before the page loads. On VirusTotal, 2 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-16, namely alphaMountain.ai and CRDF. That is still a low detection count, so many security tools may not block it yet. Infrastructure

The page runs on a subdomain of adieforhair.com, a parent domain registered on 2011-03-23 through GoDaddy.com, LLC. It resolves to 200.69.18.139 on the ONIAAS - HostPapa network in the US. Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YR1), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
