PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

minhon.pt is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as a domain marketplace under the title "Mercado de Domínios — Avaliação & Venda Rápida" (Domain Market — Valuation & Quick Sale). It targets Portuguese-speaking domain owners and buyers. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was online and serving live content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a legitimate service so visitors trust them with logins, personal details or payments. A fake domain-sale or valuation front typically promises a quick appraisal or a fast buyer. It then asks for registrar or account credentials, contact and identity details, or an upfront fee for valuation, escrow or listing. Victims can lose access to their domains and accounts, along with any money they send. The page title shows a domain trading service, which we classified as impersonation phishing.

Evidence

Independent detection is still limited. On 2026-10-16, VirusTotal showed 2 of 92 engines flagging the domain: Gridinsoft and URLQuery.
