microsoftuserssupport.com is a phishing site built to pass as an official Microsoft user-support portal. It targets people who use Microsoft accounts. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-26. By 2026-09-27 it was offline, and its DNS was still inactive when we last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Pages like this rely on the Microsoft name to win trust. The victim is then asked to sign in or confirm account details, and whatever they type goes straight to the operators. A stolen Microsoft login can open email, cloud files and every service tied to that inbox, including password resets for other accounts. The live page was titled "Secure Video Platform" rather than anything support-related, which does not match its Microsoft support domain name; we classified it as Microsoft impersonation phishing.
Evidence
VirusTotal showed only 3 of 91 engines flagging the domain on 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a thin result, so most security products would not have warned visitors during its short life. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which is an independent confirmation that carries real weight with mail and network filters. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-03-23 through Ultahost, Inc., roughly six months before it was detected. A long gap like that is typical of domains bought ahead of time and kept aside until a campaign needs them. The site sat behind Cloudflare, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server was hidden. It was taken offline the day after we first detected it.
What to do
If you entered a Microsoft password on this site, change it immediately and also change it on any other account that used the same password. Turn on two-step verification, check your account's recent sign-in activity, and remove any devices, app passwords or mail-forwarding rules you do not recognise. Watch your inbox for password-reset emails you did not request, since a hijacked mailbox is often used to take over linked services. Defenders should block the domain, search mail and proxy logs for earlier visits, and treat any user who submitted credentials as a compromised account.
