PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

This is an impersonation phishing page on a numbered subdomain of hstn.me. Its marketplace-items prefix is meant to make a link look like an ordinary product or listing page. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15, and as of 2026-10-19 it was still online with live content. Its current page title, "DNS Resolution Error - Domain Not Found, Or Domain not added to hosting account", reads like a hosting error rather than a storefront, while we classify the address as impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Marketplace impersonation usually begins with a link sent through a chat, an email or a listing reply, often framed as a buyer confirmation, a payment step or an item you need to check. The page then mimics a trusted marketplace flow and asks for a login, card details or a payment to "release" or "secure" the deal. Anything entered goes straight to the operator, and the victim can lose account access, card funds or money paid for goods that never existed.

Evidence

Fourteen of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the address on 2026-09-25. Those engines include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, ADMINUSLabs, AILabs (MONITORAPP) and CyRadar, so the verdict draws on several unrelated vendors. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL under the phishing category, which matters because many mail filters and resolvers act on that list automatically. PhishDestroy also carries it on its own blocklist.

Infrastructure

The site sits on IP 185.27.134.24 on the Wildcard UK Limited network in Great Britain. The domain was registered through Porkbun LLC on 2019-06-03, more than seven years before this address was flagged. Together with the long numeric subdomain, that pattern points to a shared hosting domain handing out throwaway subdomains, not a freshly purchased scam domain. Cutting off the subdomain does not affect the parent, so similar addresses can reappear under new numbers.

What to do

If you typed a marketplace or email password here, change it immediately and turn on two-factor authentication, and change it anywhere else you reused it. If you entered card details or paid a "confirmation" or release fee, call your bank to block the card and dispute the charge, and do not pay any follow-up fees the same contact asks for. Keep the chat or message that delivered the link and report the sender on the marketplace itself. Defenders should block the full hostname and treat other numbered marketplace-style subdomains on the same parent with suspicion. They can also lean on the Spamhaus DBL phishing listing in mail and DNS filtering.
