mantanetwrk.com is a fraudulent site that impersonates Manta Network, the legitimate modular blockchain project focused on zero-knowledge applications, in order to steal cryptocurrency from visitors. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-09-07 and classified it as a crypto wallet drainer. The site is now offline, having gone dark on 2026-10-14, confirmed as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The site presented itself under the exact branding of Manta Network, using the page title "Manta Network | The Modular Blockchain for ZK Applications" to appear indistinguishable from the real project. Visitors were likely prompted to connect a cryptocurrency wallet, at which point a drainer script would request broad token-spending approvals or trigger a malicious transaction. Once approved, the drainer silently transfers tokens and NFTs out of the victim's wallet to attacker-controlled addresses, leaving the victim with no recourse.

VirusTotal returned 17 detections from 89 scanning engines as of 2026-09-14, with flagging vendors including BitDefender, ESET, ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. The domain was registered on 2026-06-17 through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu, roughly three months before PhishDestroy detected it. It was hosted on Cloudflare's network in Canada at IP 188.114.96.3, and its TLS certificate was issued by Google Trust Services under the WE1 authority.
