Overview

mail.zyphera-trad.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as Zypheratrade. Its homepage is titled "Zypheratrade • Home", and it targets people looking to trade or invest online. Unusually, the fake storefront sits on a "mail" subdomain rather than the bare domain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites like this copy the name and look of a trading brand so visitors believe they have reached the genuine service. The "Zypheratrade • Home" title and the near-miss spelling "zyphera-trad" are meant to pass a quick glance. Victims who sign up or log in hand over credentials and personal details. Those who fund an account send money to the operators, who control the platform and the balance it displays. Further payments are often requested as fees before any withdrawal, which never arrives.

Evidence

On 2026-10-01, five of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many security products will not yet block it. Spamhaus independently lists it in its Domain Block List under the spam category, which supports a bad-reputation verdict from a separate source. PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-08-21 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown. It was detected just 27 days later, a short lifespan typical of throwaway scam domains. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. The site uses a Google Trust Services certificate, so the browser padlock appears normal and proves nothing about legitimacy.

What to do

Do not deposit money or pay any "withdrawal" or "verification" fee this site demands. If you already paid, contact your bank or card issuer immediately, report the transfer as fraud, and keep screenshots and receipts. If you created an account or logged in, change that password anywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. Treat any follow-up calls or messages offering to recover your funds as a likely second scam. Defenders should block the domain and its subdomains at DNS and the web proxy, and search mail and proxy logs for users who visited it.
