lustershadow.com is an impersonation phishing page. It poses as a legitimate service so that visitors trust it with information they would only give the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content, so anyone who reaches it today can still be phished.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and flow of a known brand closely enough that a visitor believes they are on the genuine service. The visitor is then asked to sign in, verify an account or confirm details. In crypto-focused schemes, that can include entering a wallet recovery phrase. Whatever is typed goes straight to the operators, who use it to take over accounts, resell the data or empty the associated funds. The forgery is in the presentation, so the victim usually notices nothing until access or money is gone.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines classed the domain as malicious. These include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. That is a meaningful spread of established vendors reaching the same verdict independently, not a single outlier. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it. The PhishDestroy blocklist carries it as well.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-01-02, more than eight months before it surfaced as phishing. That gap fits an operator who lets a domain age so it looks less suspicious to filters. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which hides the true origin server. Its certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), so the browser padlock appears as normal and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
What to do
Do not enter anything on lustershadow.com. If you signed in there, change that password immediately, along with any other account that reuses it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move the funds to a new wallet created from a fresh phrase. Reach the real service only through a bookmark or its official app. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search mail and web logs for prior visits, and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot so the hosting and registration can be pulled.
