luminousbrook.com is an impersonation phishing page that dresses itself up as a trusted service to win the confidence of crypto users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. It was still online with live content on 2026-10-19, more than a month later, so it remains a working threat.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and flow of a brand people already trust, then ask visitors to sign in, verify an account or confirm their wallet. Whatever is typed in goes to the operators, not the real service. That can include passwords, one-time codes, email access or a recovery phrase, and it is enough to empty accounts or wallets. The browser tab shows only the bare domain name, which gives no hint of which brand the page is mimicking.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious. The vendors behind those verdicts include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. That is a solid minority of engines, and it comes from independent sources rather than a single feed. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, where other researchers have tracked it. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-01-02, about eight and a half months before it came to our attention. That long gap suggests it was either kept dormant or used quietly before this campaign surfaced. Traffic runs through Cloudflare's network, with the serving address geolocated to Canada. That setup hides the true origin server behind Cloudflare's proxy.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it right away on the genuine service and on any account that shares it. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of active sessions. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a newly created wallet immediately. Watch the affected accounts for unfamiliar logins or transfers. Defenders should block luminousbrook.com at DNS and proxy level and search mail and web logs for users who reached it since 2026-09-15. Abuse reports to Cloudflare and Dynadot can help speed up takedown.
