lumen-crate.com is an impersonation phishing page built to pass as a legitimate service so that visitors hand over access they would only give to the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-18, and it targets crypto users who reach it through links in messages, ads or social posts. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content, so it remains a working trap.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a trusted brand closely enough that a hurried visitor doesn't question them. The page then asks for whatever unlocks the victim's assets: account logins, one-time codes, a wallet seed phrase, or a wallet connection and signature. Anything typed or approved goes straight to the operators. Stolen credentials let them empty accounts, a seed phrase gives them full control of a wallet, and a signed approval lets them move tokens without asking again.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 17 of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious or phishing, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, ADMINUSLabs, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. That is a solid block of independent verdicts from both mainstream security vendors and community anti-fraud sources. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it separately. Among public blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it, so some browsers and filters may still let it load.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2025-10-28, almost eleven months before it was detected. Holding a domain that long before using it helps a phishing site avoid filters that distrust newly registered names. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address located in Canada, which hides the real origin server behind Cloudflare's network. The HTTPS certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), the issuer commonly used for Cloudflare-fronted sites, so the padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you entered a password or 2FA code on this site, change that password right away from the service's official app or a bookmarked address, reset 2FA, and end all active sessions. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a new wallet with a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted allowance checker and keep watching the wallet. Defenders should block the domain at the DNS and proxy level, search logs for users who visited it, and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot so the content can be taken down.
