lounge.boegux.com is a phishing page that impersonates a legitimate crypto service to deceive cryptocurrency holders. It sits on a "lounge" subdomain, a name that suggests a members-only or VIP area. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. At the last check on 2026-10-19, DNS for the hostname was inactive, so the page was not loading, but the underlying domain has not been retired and could be pointed at new content.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a known exchange, wallet or crypto platform. Victims usually arrive through ads, social media or direct messages, then are asked to sign in, verify an account or connect a wallet. Whatever they enter, including passwords, 2FA codes, seed phrases or wallet signatures, goes straight to the operators. They use it to empty accounts and wallets, and those transfers cannot be reversed. A private-sounding "lounge" page fits a common lure that promises exclusive rewards or early access.
Evidence
On 2026-10-01, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the site. The vendors included BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a solid level of agreement for a page only a few days into its detected life. urlscan.io rated it malicious and tagged it as a crypto scam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing, which means mail and DNS filters that use that list will block it. PhishDestroy also carries it on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
boegux.com was registered on 2026-05-04 through Fewmoretaps OU, trading as Trustname.com. The phishing subdomain surfaced almost five months later. A meaningless, randomly spelled domain held for months before use is consistent with infrastructure set up in advance and switched on when a campaign starts. The page was hosted in Germany on the FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED network and used a Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser therefore said nothing about whether the site was legitimate.
What to do
If you entered a password or 2FA code on this page, change that password immediately, reset 2FA and review recent logins and withdrawals on the real service. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet with a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet or signed a transaction, revoke any token approvals you do not recognise using a reputable approval checker. Defenders should block the whole boegux.com domain, not just the subdomain, and check DNS and proxy logs for earlier visits from their networks.
