logiin-uphold-faqs.tem3.io is a credential phishing page posing as the login and help area of Uphold, the crypto and multi-asset trading platform. It targets Uphold customers looking for sign-in help, and the misspelled "logiin" plus "faqs" in the hostname mimic a support page. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11, and the site was still online and serving its content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page is titled "Official Site® | uphold login® | Getting started," a keyword-stuffed headline written to rank in search results and look like an official onboarding guide. A visitor searching for Uphold login help lands on the page and is steered to enter their email, password and often a 2FA code into a fake form. Whatever is typed goes straight to the operators, who can then log into the real Uphold account, change security settings and withdraw the balance before the owner notices.

Evidence

16 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the site on 2026-09-20, including ChainPatrol, BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Emsisoft, G-Data and CyRadar. That spread across crypto-focused and mainstream security vendors makes a false positive unlikely. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Uphold branding on it. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain registration dates to 2024-08-02 through GoDaddy.com, LLC, more than two years before PhishDestroy detected this phishing page. That suggests either an aged domain kept in reserve or a parent domain reused for new hostnames. The site sits behind Cloudflare in the US, which hides the origin server, and uses a Google Trust Services certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered credentials here, open Uphold directly from a saved bookmark or the official app, change your password, and reset two-factor authentication. Review active sessions, linked devices and saved withdrawal addresses, and contact Uphold support immediately if you see unfamiliar activity. Change the same password anywhere else you reused it, starting with the email account tied to Uphold. Defenders should block the hostname and the tem3.io parent at DNS and proxy level, and alert users that Uphold login help never lives on third-party domains.
