This is a credential phishing page built to look like the Coinsquare sign-in screen. It targets Coinsquare customers who might follow a link expecting their exchange login. How the scam works
The page carried the title "Coinsquare Login | Sign In Account" and sat on a long subdomain stuffed with reassuring words like "secure", "cdn" and "auth" so it would look official at a glance. A victim who types an email, password or one-time code hands those details directly to the operators. They can then log into the real Coinsquare account, change security settings and move out any crypto or cash held there. Because exchange withdrawals are usually final, a stolen login can quickly become a total loss.
Evidence
Eighteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the page as of 2026-09-20, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao. That is broad agreement from unrelated vendors. Google Safe Browsing listed it for social engineering, so Chrome and other browsers using that feed would have shown a warning. urlscan.io independently returned a malicious verdict and recognised Coinsquare as the brand being imitated.
Infrastructure
The page was not a registered domain of its own. It was a free subdomain on Webflow's hosted site platform, which lets someone launch a convincing page in minutes without buying anything. Traffic was served through Cloudflare, Inc. on a Canadian address, which matches Coinsquare's home market. It stayed reachable for about ten days after PhishDestroy first flagged it, then went dark.
What to do
If you entered your Coinsquare details here, sign in through the official app or by typing the address yourself, change your password and reset two-factor authentication. Review your login history, linked devices, withdrawal addresses and recent transactions, and contact Coinsquare support right away if anything looks unfamiliar. Change the password anywhere you reused it, and be wary of follow-up emails or calls claiming to be Coinsquare. Defenders should block the full hostname and alert on Coinsquare-themed subdomains of website-builder platforms in mail and proxy logs.
