PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ledgr-walet-os.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page. Its name misspells "Ledger wallet" to pass as an official Ledger app or support portal for hardware wallet owners. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-17 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still down on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake Ledger pages usually claim the device needs a firmware update, a security sync or a wallet "restore". They then ask the visitor to type in their 24-word recovery phrase or connect a wallet. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and the theft cannot be reversed. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning screen rather than the original lure, while our classification describes the impersonation content the site served before the block.

Evidence

urlscan.io judged the site malicious, though the only brand it recognised was a generic Cloudflare page, consistent with the warning screen. MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet-focused defenders have confirmed it independently. VirusTotal showed 0 detections out of 89 engines on 2026-09-18. A clean VirusTotal result here does not mean the site is safe. It means general-purpose antivirus engines never picked up this short-lived page.

Infrastructure

The subdomain was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-08-19, 20 days before PhishDestroy caught it. Free static hosting like this lets operators launch disposable lookalike sites quickly under a shared, trusted parent domain. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. address space located in Canada, with a certificate from Google Trust Services. Cloudflare's own block took the page offline about nine days after we flagged it.

What to do

If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase, ideally after resetting your Ledger, and move any remaining funds there immediately. A recovery phrase cannot be changed or secured once someone else has it. If you only connected a wallet or signed transactions, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted allowance checker. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase through a website or a support chat. Security teams should block this specific pages.dev subdomain rather than the whole platform, and watch for similar misspelled Ledger names on free hosting services.
