Overview

ledggerr-livee.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page whose name is a doubled-letter misspelling of "Ledger Live," the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. It targets Ledger owners who search for the app or follow a link expecting an official update or sync page. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-17, and the provider is still blocking it as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake Ledger Live pages usually tell visitors that their device needs an update, a resync or a security check. The page then asks for the 24-word recovery phrase, which Ledger never requests. Anyone who types it in hands over full control of every account derived from that seed, and funds can be swept within minutes without the physical device. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare," which is the hosting provider's warning page shown after the block, while our classification refers to the Ledger impersonation the domain was built for.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the page malicious. The brand it detected was Cloudflare's generic warning page rather than Ledger, which matches the block that is now in place. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain independently, alongside PhishDestroy. VirusTotal showed 0 detections out of 89 engines on 2026-09-18, so a clean result there should not reassure anyone about this name.

Infrastructure

The site ran as a project on Cloudflare Pages, a free hosting service that lets anyone publish a site under the shared pages.dev name in minutes, with no domain purchase. The listed creation date of 2026-09-15 comes a week after PhishDestroy's first sighting. The site went dark two days later, a short life typical of disposable phishing deployments. It was served from Cloudflare's network, with the address placed in Canada.

What to do

If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up your Ledger with a new seed, or use a new device, and move any remaining assets to the new accounts immediately. If you connected a software wallet to the page, revoke any token approvals you granted. Install Ledger Live only from Ledger's official site, and remember that no genuine Ledger prompt will ever ask for your 24 words. Defenders should block this exact pages.dev subdomain rather than relying on VirusTotal scores, and watch for similar misspellings of Ledger brand names on free hosting platforms.
