Overview

ledgere-livee-app.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger. It presents itself as the official home of Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. The doubled letters in "ledgere" and "livee" are a typosquatting trick meant to slip past a quick glance. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, the hosting provider has blocked its content, and it was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page title, "Ledger Live App – Download, Setup & Secure Crypto Official", is aimed at people searching for the app to set up or restore a device. Fake Ledger Live pages usually take one of two routes. Some walk the visitor through a bogus "setup" or "sync" step that asks for the 24-word recovery phrase. Others offer a tampered installer that later prompts for that phrase. Whoever holds the recovery phrase controls the wallet, so a victim who types it in can have every asset swept, with no way to reverse it.

Evidence

Twelve of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-11, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors for a short-lived pages.dev site. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Ledger branding on it. The domain is also listed on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, so wallet users who rely on those feeds get a warning.

Infrastructure

The domain is a subdomain of Cloudflare Pages, a free static-hosting service, and its registration date is 2025-09-29. That is close to eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. The page was served from Cloudflare's network in the US. Free platform subdomains like this cost nothing to create, which is why impersonators favor them. They can also be shut down quickly once reported, as happened here.

What to do

If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Initialize your Ledger with a new phrase and move any remaining funds to it immediately. Ledger never asks for your 24 words in an app or on a website. If you downloaded software from the page, uninstall it, run a full malware scan, and reinstall Ledger Live only from Ledger's official site. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognize. Security teams should block the domain and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains carrying Ledger branding.
