Overview

join-adobe.us is an impersonation phishing page posing as Adobe, aimed at people who use Adobe accounts and services. The domain name suggests an official sign-up or onboarding page, and the page title is simply Adobe's real web address, so a browser tab shows nothing out of place. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and redirecting visitors.

How the scam works

Brand-impersonation pages like this one copy Adobe's look and wording, then ask visitors to log in, register, or confirm account details. Anything typed into the form goes to the operator, not to Adobe. A stolen Adobe login can expose cloud files, documents, subscription billing, and any other service where the same password is reused. The redirect means the domain can quietly send traffic to whatever page the operator currently uses.

Evidence

Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-14: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of one another. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. Besides PhishDestroy, it appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which are crypto-focused feeds and an unusual place for an Adobe lure. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-07-21, about six weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is typical of a domain set up in advance and then put to use. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden from public view. The .us extension and the join- prefix add credibility for anyone who only glances at the address bar.

What to do

If you entered your Adobe email and password here, change the password at once through Adobe's official site or app, typed in directly rather than reached by a link. Then turn on two-step verification and sign out of all active sessions. Change the password on any other account that used the same one. If you entered card details, contact your bank and watch for unexpected subscription charges. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, use the Spamhaus DBL listing to filter mail that references it, and warn staff that Adobe login prompts should only be trusted on Adobe's own domain.
