io-rabbyus.framer.website is a phishing page that impersonated Rabby, the multi-chain browser wallet, on a free subdomain of the Framer site builder. The 'io-rabbyus' label borrows the brand name so the link looks official in a search result, ad or chat message, aimed at Rabby users and people looking to install it. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. The site has been offline since 2026-09-22 and was still down at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Pages that pose as a wallet brand usually copy its landing page and push visitors toward a fake 'download', 'restore' or 'connect' step. Depending on the variant, the victim is asked to type a seed phrase into a form or to connect a wallet and sign transactions that grant token approvals. Either path hands control of the funds to the operator, who can then empty the wallet. The page now shows the title 'Site Not Found | Framer', which is Framer's placeholder for a removed project, while our classification is Rabby impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Wallet-security blocklists caught this one before most generic scanners did. MetaMask and SEAL list it alongside PhishDestroy. On VirusTotal, 3 of 89 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-21: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. That is a low count, typical of short-lived crypto phishing on builder platforms, so a clean result from a single scanner should not be read as a sign the link is safe.
Infrastructure
The 2021-11-19 registration and the registrar, CSC Corporate Domains, Inc., belong to Framer's own platform domain. They say nothing about when the operator set up this page. What matters is the hosting model: the scammer only needed a free Framer project, served from Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the Netherlands. Pages like this can be created and abandoned within days, and this one went offline five days after we first flagged it.
What to do
If you typed your Rabby or any other seed phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device and move any remaining assets right away. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker, and check for transfers you did not make. Install Rabby only from its official site or your browser's official extension store. Defenders should block the framer.website subdomain and watch for new Framer or other builder subdomains that use Rabby branding.
