PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

hostmyhtml.com presents itself as "HOSTMYHTML - Lifetime Hosting by HTML4LIFE," a one-time-payment web hosting offer, and PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page. It targets people looking for cheap or permanent hosting for simple sites. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-14, and it was still online with its content served as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow the look and name of a service to win trust, then collect whatever the visitor hands over: account sign-ups, logins, uploaded files or payment details. A "lifetime hosting" pitch is effective bait because it invites an upfront payment and account creation in one step. The victim can lose the money paid, the credentials they enter, and any reused passwords that unlock other accounts. The page title shows an ordinary hosting product, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2024-09-25, more than two years before PhishDestroy detected it. That long lead time suggests either a domain held in reserve or a site that operated quietly before drawing attention. It resolves to Cloudflare (AS13335) in the US, which means the visible address belongs to Cloudflare's proxy and the real origin server is hidden behind it.
