hidostorm.info is an impersonation phishing site that copied the look of a legitimate service so visitors would trust it with sensitive information. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. The site went offline on 2026-09-16, and when last checked on 2026-10-19 its DNS was no longer resolving. The domain could still be reactivated, so it remains on our blocklist.
An impersonation page copies the branding, layout and wording of a service its targets already use, then sends them there through ads, search results, direct messages or lookalike links. Once the victim believes they are on the real site, the page asks for whatever it was built to capture: account passwords and one-time codes, a wallet recovery phrase, or a payment or transfer. Anything entered goes straight to the operators. A stolen login or seed phrase lets them empty accounts and wallets without any further action from the victim.
When VirusTotal last scanned the domain on 2026-09-17, 14 of 89 security engines rated it malicious. The vendors that flagged it include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CyRadar and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but the detections come from several unrelated vendors that reached the same verdict on their own. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have documented it as part of malicious activity.
The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2025-08-05, about thirteen months before PhishDestroy detected it. A domain that sits unused that long is often being aged on purpose, because older domains tend to pass reputation checks more easily. The site was hosted on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the United States. It used a domain-validated GoDaddy certificate, which only proves control of the domain, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about who ran the site.
If you typed a password on hidostorm.info, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that uses the same password, then turn on app-based 2FA and sign out all active sessions. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you sent money or crypto, save the transaction details and report them to the service being impersonated and to your local authorities. Defenders should block the domain and search proxy and DNS logs for any earlier visits, since the domain could come back online.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
