PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

harvest-ledger-pilot.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that borrowed the Ledger name under the title "Harvest Ledger" to lure owners of Ledger hardware wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still dead when we last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Ledger impersonation pages copy the company's branding to look like an official support, sync or rewards portal. The "Harvest" framing in the title suggests a yield or rewards lure that pushes the visitor to "verify" or "claim" something. The usual trap is a form asking for the 24-word recovery phrase, which no genuine Ledger service ever requests. Anyone who types that phrase hands over full control of every account derived from the device, and the attacker can empty those wallets from anywhere without touching the hardware.

Evidence

Five of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the page as of 2026-09-18: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data and Kaspersky. That count is modest, but it comes from independent vendors that agree with our classification. More telling for wallet users, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so crypto-focused defenders reached the same verdict separately.

Infrastructure

The page was published on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-08-31, eight days before PhishDestroy caught it. It then lasted only eight more days before going dark. It was served from Cloudflare's network with a Canada geolocation and an automatically issued Google Trust Services certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about legitimacy. Free subdomains like this one are quick to spin up and quick to abandon, which matches the short lifespan seen here.

What to do

If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up your Ledger again with a new phrase and move any remaining funds to the new accounts immediately. If you only visited and typed nothing, no action is needed beyond closing the tab. Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase online. Security teams should block the hostname and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains pairing "ledger" with reward or harvest wording.
