hangarlastik.com is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a trusted service to harvest what visitors type into it. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-08. When last checked on 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving live content, so it remains a working trap rather than an abandoned one.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a familiar brand closely enough that a visitor arriving from an ad, search result or message believes they are on the real site. The victim is then asked to sign in, verify an account or enter wallet details, and whatever goes into the form is sent straight to the operators, who use it to take over the account or empty the funds behind it. The page title shows only the site's own address and gives no hint of which brand it imitates, while our analysis classifies the page as impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-10-08, 16 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Vendors in that group include ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and G-Data. These are independent detection engines, so their agreement makes a false positive unlikely. The domain also appears in 34 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows that other researchers have tracked it as malicious. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2019-03-18, more than seven years before PhishDestroy detected it. A domain's age is therefore no proof that it is safe. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server from view. Its TLS certificate from Google Trust Services means the padlock appears as normal, but a padlock only shows that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is honest.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the genuine service and on any other account that uses the same password. Then enable app-based two-factor authentication and review recent logins and linked devices. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a newly created wallet from a device you trust. Do not return to the page or reply to any follow-up contact that refers to it. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search mail and web logs for visits since 2026-10-08, and report it to the brand being impersonated and to Cloudflare so it can be taken down.
