Overview

graniteassets.info is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the name "Graniteassets", styled as an asset or investment platform to win the trust of crypto holders. PhishDestroy first recorded it on 2026-10-09. When we last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content, so anyone who reaches it now sees the live page.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow the look and name of a legitimate-seeming service so visitors treat them as the real thing. A polished "Graniteassets" front page lowers suspicion. The visitor is then pushed to sign in, register, deposit funds or connect a wallet. Whatever is entered goes to the operators. That can mean account logins, personal details, money sent as a "deposit", or access through a wallet connection. Once funds leave a victim's control on-chain, they are rarely recoverable.

Evidence

Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-18: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That count is modest, so many security products will still let the page load. The stronger signal comes from crypto-specific defenses. MetaMask and the SEAL blocklist both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users may see a warning before the page opens. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, showing other researchers have tracked it independently.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-07-07 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD., about three months before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap suggests the page ran quietly for weeks before landing on blocklists. It sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy, the server actually hosting the page stays hidden, so takedown requests need to go through Cloudflare's abuse process.

What to do

Do not log in, register, deposit or connect a wallet on graniteassets.info. If you entered a password there, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based 2FA. If you sent funds, keep the transaction details and report them to your exchange and local authorities. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the token approvals granted to unfamiliar contracts and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and the proxy, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar while it remains live.
