Overview

go.foapux.com is a crypto-themed impersonation phishing page that poses as a legitimate service to get cryptocurrency users to hand over money, credentials or wallet access. Its page title is only an ellipsis, so the browser tab gives no brand name, and urlscan.io classified the content as a generic crypto scam. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-29. As of 2026-10-19 the server still responded, but the domain's DNS no longer delivered the scam content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages like this copy the look of a trusted crypto platform, such as an exchange, wallet or investment dashboard, and rely on the victim not checking the address bar. Once trust is established, the page asks the visitor to log in, enter a recovery phrase, connect a wallet, or send a deposit or "verification" payment. Anything typed in goes to the operators. Any crypto sent or any wallet permission signed can be emptied quickly, and blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence

On 2026-10-01, 13 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. Several major antivirus vendors independently reached the same conclusion, which gives the classification weight even though most engines stayed silent. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict tagged as a crypto scam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, and PhishDestroy blocks it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-06-26 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, about three months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a domain kept in reserve or used quietly before wider exposure. It is hosted at 62.60.226.245 on the FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED network in Germany, and its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt. The padlock this produces says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a password or email on this page, change it on the real service right away and turn on app-based 2FA. If you typed a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move the remaining funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet or signed transactions, review and revoke the token approvals you granted. If you sent crypto, record the transaction hashes and report them to the platform the site imitated and to local authorities, and ignore anyone who offers to "recover" the funds for a fee. Defenders should block the domain and the hosting IP at DNS and proxy level and search logs for users who reached it.
