PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

gmlsoftlabs.com is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself as a legitimate software or service brand to win the trust of crypto users. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-10. On 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving content, so it remains an active risk. The page currently carries the title "Not Acceptable!", which reads like a server error rather than a branded page, but our classification for the domain is impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Impersonation phishing borrows the look, name or tone of a company people already trust, then asks visitors to log in, register, download something or confirm account details. Whatever is typed in goes to the operators. They can use stolen passwords, email access or personal details to take over accounts, reset credentials elsewhere, or run follow-up scams against the victim.

Evidence

On 2026-10-12, VirusTotal showed 7 of 92 engines flagging the domain: ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Seclookup, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of each other and of PhishDestroy. The domain also appears in 34 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means analysts outside our project have tied it to malicious activity repeatedly. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2018-11-23, nearly eight years before it entered our blocklist. An older registration can make a site look established to filters and to visitors. It is hosted in the United States on an Oracle Corporation network (ORACLE-BMC-31898) at 162.214.80.88.
