globalrabbyednapps.framer.website is a phishing page that impersonated Rabby, the browser wallet popular with DeFi users. Its name strings together "global," "rabby" and "apps" to pass for an official Rabby dapp or download portal. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. The site went offline on 2026-09-22 and was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Pages like this copy the look of a wallet brand on a free site-builder subdomain, then push visitors to connect their wallet, sign a transaction or "restore" access by typing in a recovery phrase. A seed phrase hands over the whole wallet, while a malicious signature or token approval lets the operator move funds without further prompts. The page title now reads "Site Not Found | Framer," which is Framer's default page for removed projects. We classified the domain as Rabby impersonation based on its content while it was live.
Evidence
Four of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-23: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. That count is modest, but ChainPatrol specializes in Web3 brand abuse, so its verdict carries weight here. MetaMask's and SEAL's blocklists also carry the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallets that use those lists warn users before the page loads.
Infrastructure
The registration date of 2021-11-19 and the registrar CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. belong to framer.website, the platform's own domain. The phishing subdomain itself was created by a Framer user and tells us nothing about when the operator started. Traffic resolved to Amazon infrastructure in the Netherlands, and the Let's Encrypt certificate is standard for Framer-hosted sites. This is a low-cost, disposable setup that can be rebuilt under a new subdomain within minutes.
What to do
If you entered a recovery phrase on this page, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a newly created wallet with a fresh seed. If you connected Rabby or another wallet and signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-checker, then watch for unexpected outgoing transfers. Install Rabby only from its official site or verified browser store listing, and never type a seed phrase into a website. Defenders should block other framer.website subdomains that use wallet brand names and report new copies to Framer and the wallet blocklists.
