We first flagged it on 2026-10-06, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still up and serving its content.
How the scam works
Sites like this borrow the look and name of a trading platform, here "EvercrestGlobal", to seem established and trustworthy. Visitors are pushed to open an account, hand over login details or personal information, and fund a balance. Any profits shown on the dashboard are fictional. When the victim tries to cash out, new "fees", "taxes" or verification payments appear, and the money sent in, along with any credentials or identity documents shared, ends up with the operators.
Evidence
On 2026-10-16, five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a small share, so many browsers and security tools will still let the page load without a warning. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. PhishDestroy lists it on our blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-11-09 through Global Domain Group LLC, almost eleven months before we detected it. A long gap like that is typical of domains held in reserve before a campaign starts. It is hosted in the United States on the PONYNET network of FranTech Solutions. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the operator is legitimate, so the padlock should not reassure anyone.

Do not deposit anything, and never pay a "withdrawal fee" or "tax" to release a balance, because that money is lost as well. If you sent funds, keep the transaction references and screenshots and report them to your bank, card issuer or payment service and to the police. If you registered, change that password wherever you have reused it, turn on two-factor authentication, and watch for follow-up contact from fake "recovery" services.
