falconsgg.cc is an impersonation phishing page. Its name pairs "falcons" with the gamer shorthand "gg" on a .cc extension, so it reads like a gaming or esports brand's address to anyone who doesn't look closely. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and answering with a redirect.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites borrow a familiar name and look so visitors treat them as the real thing. They then use that trust to collect logins, payment details or other sensitive input, or to push visitors toward a fake offer. The page currently returns the title "301 Moved Permanently," a plain redirect response, while our classification is impersonation phishing. A domain in this state can forward visitors to wherever the operator points it, so the redirect target can change without the address changing.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain in the 2026-09-25 scan: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but six unrelated vendors reaching the same verdict on an address only weeks old is a meaningful signal. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently. Among blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-09-04, just 13 days before we detected it. That short gap fits a site set up for a quick campaign rather than a long-standing business. Traffic runs through Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which hides the actual origin server. The Let's Encrypt certificate is free and issued automatically, so the browser padlock says nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you typed a username, password or email into this site, change that password immediately, plus anywhere else you reuse it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication for the account. If you entered card or payment details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Reach gaming or esports brands only by typing their official address yourself or using a saved bookmark, never through links from chats, DMs or ads. Defenders should block falconsgg.cc at the DNS and proxy level and check logs for users who visited after 2026-09-04. Watch for lookalike "falcons" and "gg" domains registered around the same time.
