The subdomain name mimics a Rabby extension download page and targets users who want to install or reconnect the wallet. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-17. It has been offline since 2026-09-22, and it was still dead with no content at its root on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake wallet-extension pages copy the look of the real brand and push visitors toward one of two traps. The first is a counterfeit extension download. The second is a fake "restore" or "verify" form that asks for the seed phrase or private key. Whoever obtains that phrase controls the wallet and can sweep it at will. The page title is now "Site Not Found | Framer", which is the hosting platform's default for a removed site rather than Rabby-branded content. Four of 90 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-23: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. That count is low, but the flags come from vendors that track crypto phishing closely. The domain is also on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users relying on those protections were warned independently.
Infrastructure
The site was a subdomain on Framer's no-code website builder, not a domain the operator registered. The 2021-11-19 registration date and the CSC Corporate Domains registrar belong to Framer's shared parent domain, not to the scammer. Traffic resolved to Amazon infrastructure in the Netherlands. Free site builders like this let a phishing page go live in minutes and disappear just as fast, which fits the roughly five days this page stayed online.
What to do
If you entered a Rabby seed phrase or private key on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a fresh wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you installed an extension from this page, remove it and reinstall Rabby only from the official browser store listing. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-management tool.
