How the scam works
Fake broker sites copy the branding and trading language of a real broker so that visitors believe they are on an official regional portal. Victims are typically asked to log in or open an account, which hands their broker credentials, email, phone number and sometimes identity documents to the operators. Many such sites then push deposits into a "trading account" that only exists on the fake platform, so any money sent is lost.
