dofuspourlesnoobs-quetes.com is an impersonation phishing page built around Dofus, the MMORPG. Its name reads like a French-language beginner's quest guide, a kind of site players search for and trust. That makes Dofus players, especially newcomers looking for quest help, the natural target. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages like this borrow a game's name and the look of a familiar fan resource to win a visitor's trust. They then push the visitor toward a fake login or "verification" step that captures their game account credentials. With those credentials, attackers can take over the account and strip its items and in-game currency, or resell it. The page title currently shows "408 Request Time-out", a server error message, while our classification of the site's content is Dofus impersonation phishing.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and recognized Dofus branding on the page, which independently confirms what the site imitates. On VirusTotal, 5 of 91 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low hit rate, so many browsers and security tools will still let the page load without warning. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-08-14, about a month before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a site set up specifically for this campaign rather than an old site that was hijacked. It is hosted at 176.123.0.199 on the ALEXHOST SRL network in Moldova. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you entered your Dofus or Ankama login on this site, change that password immediately from the official Ankama site, and change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication for the account. Then review recent account activity, linked email settings and your character inventories for anything you did not do. Only find quest guides by typing the address of a site you already know, not through search ads or links shared in chat. Defenders should block the domain and its IP address and treat the low VirusTotal count as a reason to block it themselves rather than as a sign the site is safe.
