decentrali-sed-exod.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates the Exodus crypto wallet. Its page title, "Exodus Web3 Wallet® | Secure Crypto & NFT Access with Ledger®", targets people who hold crypto and NFTs in Exodus, especially those who pair it with a Ledger device. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-26. The site has been offline since 2026-09-09, and the hosting provider had blocked its content when we last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The page poses as an official Exodus web portal and adds Ledger branding to look trustworthy to hardware-wallet users. Pages like this usually claim the wallet needs to be synced, verified or restored, then ask for the 12- or 24-word recovery phrase or a wallet connection. Anyone who types a recovery phrase into a form like this hands over full control of the wallet. The attacker can then empty every asset tied to that phrase, and a Ledger device offers no protection once the seed itself is exposed.
Evidence
Six of 90 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-04: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Kaspersky and LevelBlue. That count is modest, but it includes several major endpoint vendors, so many antivirus users would have been warned. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, although its brand detection matched only a generic Cloudflare pattern rather than Exodus. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet-level warnings fire for users of those tools.
Infrastructure
The site was a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, created on 2025-09-17, almost a year before PhishDestroy detected it. The obfuscated name "decentrali-sed-exod" hints at Exodus without spelling it out. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. address space geolocated to Canada. Its TLS certificate came from Google Trust Services, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was legitimate.
What to do
If you entered your Exodus recovery phrase on this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker. Exodus never asks for your recovery phrase through a website, and Ledger devices are set up only through Ledger's own software. Defenders should block the domain, watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains using Exodus and Ledger branding, and report new copies to Cloudflare for takedown.
