How the scam works
The page presents itself as "火币htx - 火币交易所" (Huobi HTX – Huobi Exchange), borrowing the brand's name and look so visitors believe they are on the real exchange. Fake exchange portals like this typically ask for an account email or phone number, a password and two-factor codes, then use them to take over the genuine account and withdraw its balance. Some variants instead push a fake deposit address or a bogus "verification" payment, so any crypto sent there goes straight to the operators. Victims can lose exchange account access, stored funds and the personal details they type in.

The domain appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, three independent sources that agree on the classification. It is also referenced in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. VirusTotal returned 0 detections out of 92 engines when checked on 2026-10-16, so most antivirus vendors had not caught up with this newly registered domain at that point.
Infrastructure
cn-htx.cc was registered on 2026-10-15 through Dynadot Inc. It sits behind the Cloudflare network (CLOUDFLARENET, US) at 188.114.96.3, which hides the origin server. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE1), so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you entered HTX login details here, go to the official HTX app or a bookmarked address right away, change your password, reset two-factor authentication and review active sessions, API keys and withdrawal whitelists. Contact HTX support if you see unfamiliar withdrawals, and never send funds to deposit addresses shown on this page. If you reused the same password elsewhere, change it on those services too. Defenders should block cn-htx.cc at DNS and proxy level and warn users that HTX lookalike domains are circulating. They should also report the site to Cloudflare and Dynadot.
