Overview

captcha.slon17.ec is a suspicious domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its page title, "Один момент…" (Russian for "One moment…"), and the word "captcha" in the hostname point to a page dressed up as a browser or bot check aimed at Russian-speaking visitors. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-07. It was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

No specific brand or scheme has been confirmed for this domain. The evidence shows a page built to look like a human-verification step. Fake verification pages are a common entry point for abuse.
