Overview

bremgartener-goldschmiede.de is an impersonation phishing page posing as Correos, the Spanish postal service. Its name points to a German goldsmith, but the content is a Spanish-language payment screen aimed at people expecting a parcel or postal notice. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-26. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its phishing content.

How the scam works

The page is titled "Métodos de pago" ("Payment methods"), which fits the usual Correos lure. A text message or email claims a package is held because of an unpaid customs charge, a shipping fee or a failed delivery. The link leads to a Correos-styled checkout that asks for a small amount. The real target is the card number, expiry date, security code and often personal details, which the operators then use for larger fraudulent charges. Some versions of this scheme also ask for the one-time code from the bank, which lets the criminals approve those charges.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, SOCRadar, URLQuery, VIPRE and desenmascara.me. Most engines did not flag it, but the vendors that did are spread across commercial and independent sources. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Correos branding on it. The domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well. Among blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The site resolves to 31.47.255.40 on the dogado GmbH network in Germany. A Spanish postal lure on a German host under a German goldsmith's name is a clear mismatch with anything Correos would operate. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the padlock appears in the browser. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered card details on this page, call your bank right away, block the card and dispute any charges you do not recognise. If the page asked for a bank verification code and you entered it, tell your bank, because that code may have been used to approve a transaction. Treat any further texts about this parcel as suspicious, and check real shipments only through the official Correos app or by typing the address yourself. Security teams should block the domain and its IP, look for Correos-themed SMS and email lures pointing to it, and report it to the hosting provider.
